Roham Shamekh Turns His Dubai Home Into a Multi-Year Design Project
A private residence becomes an extension of an artist’s practice—and a functioning work of design.

According to Architectural Digest Middle East, multidisciplinary artist and designer Roham Shamekh spent two years transforming his Dubai residence into an extension of his artistic practice, turning the home itself into a functioning piece of design.
Based in Dubai since 2016, Shamekh is known for blending graffiti, tattoo motifs, floral elements, and generative AI into sculptural, functional pieces that explore identity and interconnectedness. The same sensibility shapes every room of his home.
